JAY TOWERS

JAY TOWERS

Morning Anchor, "Fox 2 News Morning" (Detroit)/Host, "Jay Towers in the Morning"

Jay Towers is the Morning Anchor on Detroit's No.1 morning newscast "Fox 2 News Morning" from 6-9am weekday mornings. He also hosts "Jay Towers in the Morning" on 100.3 WNIC with Chelsea Kivell and Allyson Martinek. Jay began his broadcasting journey when he was just 14 at WJRZ Toms Rivers, NJ; by the time he turned 18 he had his first full-time radio show in Atlantic City, NJ. Exiting the Jersey Shore shortly after his 20th birthday, Jay became one of the youngest PDs in America at WVTI Grand Rapids, MI, going on to help launch WDRQ Detroit a year later. After two years as MD/afternoon host at Q102 Philadelphia, he returned to Detroit and WDRQ, where he hosted "Jay Towers and the Morning Revolution" between 1999 and 2005.

Jay spent the next four years at 97-1 The Ticket hosting the "Jay & Bill" show before making 100.3 WNIC his final radio stop in 2010. In 2004 Jay began his television career at WJBK in Detroit, spending 10 years on "Fox 2 News Weekend." In 2014 Jay was promoted to the weekday morning anchor of "Fox 2 News Morning."
